The Bluefield Preservation Society, Inc. was founded in 2012 to protect rich, local history while revitalizing the Greater Bluefield Community, by demonstrating the economic benefits of its culture and social preservation.

Who We Are
The Bluefield Preservation Society is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit organization. We believe preservation equals progress and Bluefield has a rich heritage worthy of preserving.
Many people in the community can share stories of wonderful times when Bluefield was a business and cultural hub for the area. The Bluefield Preservation Society believes there is an adequate base in surrounding counties to sustain substantial economic growth in the city's retail sectors. Centrally located within a 50-mile radius is a population of over 500,000 people.
